Correct! There are a lot of financial expenses that go along with recording music and bringing your artistic dreams to life. However because we know how difficult it is to bear that large of a financial burden, we help you to raise the funds necessary before recording, that way you don’t have to spend a cent of your own money to do it. Plus you build your community and fanbase at the same time—win win!

Note: while all of these costs are covered, some of them may not be applicable to your project. So example if you are releasing a single with no video content, there will be no video costs to cover, and funding will go towards covering the other costs within your project.

Most artists are pleasantly surprised by how much they can raise—however even if you don’t reach your goal, all of the funding raised will still be used to record your project.

At the end of the funding process, we simply evaluate the amount raised against the cost of the project and make an updated plan to achieve your vision within the new budget.

There is no application fee—or any fees for that matter. All of the costs of the project are covered by funds raised to finance it.

Yes and no. Image management through major record labels typically involves many of the same processes we go through when building out an Artist Identity, such as creating sonic, narrative and visual touchpoints for an artist. However while major labels are often concerned with curating an image based on marketability, we focus on creating an Artist Identity that will reinforce the artistic ideas presented through the artist’s music.

While marketability is a major area of focus for us, our priority is always to craft marketable elements around an Artist Identity that enhances the audience’s experience of the artist’s music, and not the other way around.
